Please make sure you read them both carefully before you start to use this website for your test booking purpose and keep an electronic copy for your records. If you do not accept these Terms & Conditions, please abstain from using this particular website.
Before booking any test please make sure you go through the entire website and read all relevant information. UKVI Exams will not be responsible in any way if the applicant chooses the wrong type of exam needed for his/her application. The applicant will be held responsible for the booking the exam. So, it will be better if you speak to one of our test booking advisors, lawyers or to go through the Home Office website before you book your test on our website.
Before you book your test on our website make sure you have one of the following valid photo identification documents with you, it can be a (Passport, Biometric Card, Travel or GV3 Document). Make sure you fill the booking form correctly and all details (date of birth, Photo ID document numbers, and expiry date) according to your identification document. On the day of exam bring an address proof along with your Photo ID which you used for booking your test. You will not be able to sit for the exam if you fail to show any of the IDs and hence you will lose your fees for which UKVI Exams won’t be responsible and you’ll have rebook your test.
Once you book your preferred test with us we will send you a confirmation mail stating your exam date, venue and time to your registered email. Also not that the exam will only booked once the booking department receives the full payment of the test you booked. Any changes to be made in your personal details should be done within 24hrs of booking the test after which no changes are allowed. If you need to make any changes email us at info@ukviexam.com.
Late on the exam day: In case you don’t show up or arrive late than your scheduled time then your full fee will be forfeited and you will not be liable for any refunds. We recommend all candidates to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their exam time. Note that the exam fees is non-transferable.
Resit Exam: To avail resit option, the candidate must go through a mock test session with our qualified assessor atleast 7 days before the test. If our assessor approves candidates prepapreation only then candidate can sit for the test. If the candidate sits for the test without our assessor approval, you cannot avail resit offer. Note: This offer is valid only for A1 and A2 English Exams and NOT for B1 and Life in the UK Test. You cannot avail this offer if your test is within 7 days.
Refund policy is as follows:
GESE Exams / ESOL
Full refund minus £65 within 24 hours of booking an examination provided the examination is not taking place within 36 hours of booking. No refund will apply in the case where an examination has been booked within a 36 hour period of sitting an examination.
Cancellations of examinations after 24 hours of booking an examination and before a period of 96 hours of start of examination 50% refund will be given.
Cancellation of examination after 96 hours of start of examination no refund will be given.
All cancellations must be made in writing to info@ukvi.com or speak to our test booking department.
All refunds will be made to your credit/debit card used during booking or bank transfer within 7 – 10 working days of the request.
Any exams re-scheduled for any reason by UKVI Exams will be accommodated by giving the candidate the option for an alternative date or location or both. In such a case no refunds will be given.
In the rare case of any exam(s) encountering technical or other issues UKVI Exams will not reimburse any travel costs or other costs incurred whilst travelling to the exam venue. However all efforts will be made to rectify the issue. In such an event still no refund(s) will be made.
All certificates will be awarded by the awarding body approved by the Home Office. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure your certificate is valid while submitting your application to the Home Office.
Certificates will normally be despatched out within 13 - 15 working days from the date of your exam. Under rare circumstances certificates may get delayed up to 4 weeks or more due to unforeseen reasons. We take no responsibility for any financial loss due to this delay. It is the candidate’s sole responsibility to make sure they do their examination at least 3 months in advance before the expiry of the visa or Home Office deadline. We do not take responsibility for any delays in certificates from the awarding body or any other problems arising from the postal department due to delay in delivery of the certificate. No refund will be given for any delays in the delivery of certificate.
If in case you lost your certificate you can call us for a replacement Certificate which will cost £50 and may take up to 3 - 4 weeks to despatch.
Life in the UK Test
There is cancellation chage of £29. You be refunded the rest of the payment within 48 hours. The amount will be refunded in the same account through which the payment was made.
Postal Service: Candidates can opt for recorded delivery for additional charge of £10 in which we will post the certificate and provide you a tracking number.
Unacceptable behaviour: We reserve the right to cancel your exam if we find any reasons to believe that your behaviour to our staff, volunteer(s) or examiner(s) is not acceptable on the exam day or over the phone before and after the exam. In such cases you will lose your full fee. As a result of you unacceptable behaviour you will have to pay the full fee to re-sit the exam.
